Color Portfolio Technical Matters

I began my magical tour as a dedicated user of Kodachrome 64 film in my good old Argus 35mm camera. As I honed my skills I thought that nothing could take the place of such a remarkable film.  A few years later I was introduced to the wonderful medium of black and white.  The more I perfected my photographic skills the more I wanted to use black and white film, process and print my own work.

Thus, color work has not always been a primary part of my photographic art. Much of my color work is reference for my hand-painted photographs.  For all my fine artwork I photograph using chrome (slide) films and also use them to complete many of my alternative photographic styles and processes.

For my fine art work color negative film is rarely used.
